This page is exactly what it says it is... a travel journal... the personal, first-hand account of our adventures and misadventures. The posts are less about where we've been (though that's important) than about things that happened, what we saw and who we met along the way and while we were there. These are the stories and memories we want to keep when it's all said and done and the truck has long since stopped rolling down the road.
Things like finding and spending the night in a cemetary that's been around since before Arizona was a state, getting caught in a microburst and waiting for the ground to dry through triple-digit temperatures the entire next day as our water supply dwindled, stumbling our way into the first day of elk season on prime hunting grounds in the grasslands, and the really great people we ran into while attending our first RTR.
