Our Gear

Outfitting your rig with the gear you need for long-term remote travel can feel like a never-ending process of trial and elimination that can drain your bank account faster than taking up cattle ranching. When it comes to choosing the right gear for your needs without breaking the bank we don't have all the answers, what we do have is some experience outfitting a truck through various build stages with a variety of gear ranging from tents to toilets and a willingness to share what we've learned along the way.

As the name suggests, this is the gear we use. Will include detailed lists of gear by purpose, posts on selecting gear (as much gear as possible should have multiple purposes, keeping weight down, etc.), storing and maintaining gear, DIY gear, little things that aren't necessary but make life better, and of course reviews.
